• Why would someone be afraid to let God correct their plans, and what does Jeremiah 10:23–24 say about that fear?
• How does Jeremiah’s picture of shepherds leading people astray help you think about leadership and responsibility in the life of God’s people?
• What would change in your prayer life if you stopped directing the Lord and instead poured out your heart and trusted him to do beyond what you ask (Ephesians 3:20)?
